Brain Space has been longlisted for the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2026 for Best British Short Animation! Its completely blown us away that our film is included amongst so many other incredible filmmakers. I’m incredibly honoured and grateful to BAFTA, to my entire crew, our funders at Ffilm Cymru Wales, BBC Wales and every single one of our backers on Indiegogo - you all made this possible! We gave everything and more to make this film over the course of 5 years and I’m deeply thankful to everyone who has helped us, given advice, reccomeneded, championed and screened our film and supported us along the way. Stop Motion - 8.21I am the Writer & Director of Brain Space, a Stop Motion short film which took over 5 years to make and is currently in the festival circuit. Our initial budget was quite small in comparison to the scale of our aspirations which is part of the reason it took so long - we wanted to tell this story to the best of our abilities to allow an audience to fully connect with it. We are currently running a crowdfunder to pay for the last bits of post, grade, DCP creation & festival submissions
